Some loud in their grief
Others silent in their grief
I wish I could tell them am okay
In a better place, they need not to worry
But I can’t.
I want to tell my friends;
At least the few I opened up to
That they gave me everlasting memories
Those that my spirit will live to
I want to tell my family;
That in everything their love I cherished
That the memories we made
Those my spirit will live to
But I can’t.
I had visions of this day when I was alive
Every time I cried
Then prayed
Then cried again
I had so many things I wished to do before I die
My brain swelling with dreams of what I should do
My Eutopia filled with thrills of what I dreamt to do
My days spent dreaming
My better days spent doing what I could.
But I can’t ….. at least not anymore.
Just like my birthday
So unpredictable is my dying day
Whatever awaits me I know not
Whatever awaits me I control not
All I know is I did what I could when I was alive.
